Business Assistant/translator (Сhina)

We have 52,400 students and more than 5,000 English teachers from different countries.

The team of the new project to launch products on the Chinese market are looking for a native Chinese speaker ready for a large number of perse and non-standard tasks.

What will need to be done

• Accompany Skyeng product Director on a trip to the cities of China

• Attend business meetings and consistently translate from Chinese into Russian, from Russian into Chinese

• Record, decode and translate meetings, calls, negotiations

• Translate and adapt advertising texts for Chinese audience

• Independently conduct business correspondence in Chinese

• Conduct telephone conversations in Chinese

• Communicate with partners.

If youre willing to be more than just an assistant translator, then you can

• Develop and launch advertising campaigns (both online and offline) to promote the schools products to the Chinese market

• Establish partnerships with educational institutions in China

• Explore competitors, work as a mystery shopper”

• Assist in conducting interviews in Chinese

• Participate in the development of educational courses for children and adults.

• Chinese is your mother tongue

• You speak Russian well

• You have experience in business travel and consecutive interpretation, and you have recommendations

• You understand and can explain in English

• Youre ready to move from town to town every few days

• You will be able to use all the required Internet resources and programs, even if they need to install a VPN

• The advantage will be the skill of simultaneous translation

Expectations from the position, terms:

There are different options. Depending on who we find:

1) If only a business assistant/translator, the project work-for a period of 3-4 months. At the end of the trip, we will be able to offer only translations/other one-time tasks

2) If we find a business assistant with a marketing background, links with educational institutions in China and anything else useful, we will consider possible options for further cooperation.
